Shanica Knowles

Shanica Knowles (known simply as Shanica) is an actor and musician who has been shining on stage since the age of 11, when she won first place on “It’s Showtime at the Apollo”. Her first acting gig was in 2005 on the Nickelodeon sitcom Unfabulous. Shanica is widely known for her 6-year run on Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana, but has also starred in films of a variety of genres, showing off her incredibly diverse acting range. Such films include Jump In!, Life-Size 2, Megachurch Murder, Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le, and many more. Shanica is also a singer-songwriter who has made it onto the Billboard Top 50 and whose music carries a message.
