Anne Mahlum is an American entrepreneur, motivational speaker, investor, advisor, philanthropist, and athlete passionate about empowering people to live life on their own terms.
Her entrepreneurial journey began in 2007 when she turned a morning run past a Philadelphia homeless shelter into Back on My Feet, a national nonprofit using running to help individuals experiencing homelessness transform their lives. As founder and CEO, Anne grew the organization to 14 cities, helping thousands secure employment and self-sufficiency.
In 2013, she founded [solidcore], a pilates-inspired fitness company that became one of the nation’s fastest-growing boutique fitness brands. As CEO, she raised over $210M, expanded to 120+ locations, employed 2,000+ people, and served hundreds of thousands of clients, including former First Lady Michelle Obama. After exiting in 2023, Anne shared millions from the sale with her employees.
