Anthony Trucks

Former NFL Athlete | American Ninja Warrior on NBC | International speaker | Host of the Aww Shift podcast| Author of the “Identity Shift” book | Founder of Identity Shift coaching.
Anthony Trucks is a former foster child, NFL player, American Ninja Warrior competitor, author, and Identity Shift Coach who has defied the odds at every stage of his life.
Placed in foster care at age three, Anthony endured instability until being adopted at 14 by a poor, all-white family. Determined to rise above his circumstances, he made his high school varsity football team, earned a full scholarship to the University of Oregon, and went on to play in the NFL.
A career-ending shoulder injury forced Anthony to start over. After earning a degree in kinesiology and opening a gym, he found himself burned out, struggling in business and in life. A pivotal conversation revealed that his true gift was inspiring others through his resilience.
Anthony realized that success wasn’t about strategies or shortcuts—it was about identity. He spent years developing the “Dark Work” method, a process for rewiring mindset and habits at the deepest level.
Today, as founder of the Dark Work Experience, Anthony teaches individuals and organizations to access the power of their identity, embrace the hard work required for transformation, and “Make Shift Happen.” His message inspires people to overcome any obstacle and step fully into their potential.
