Laurie Sayles

Laurie Sayles is an author, change agent, and President & CEO of Civility Management Solutions (CivilityMS), a professional services consulting firm serving government and commercial clients. CivilityMS is Small Business Administration 8(a) certified, Women-Owned, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned—reflecting Laurie’s unwavering commitment to service and leadership.

A native of South Chicago, Laurie discovered her entrepreneurial spirit early, creating business ventures in childcare and sales. Her drive to serve led her to the U.S. Marine Corps, where she completed seven years of active duty. Merging military discipline with business acumen, she founded CivilityMS and has since led numerous initiatives advocating for veterans, women entrepreneurs, and survivors of military sexual trauma.

Laurie is a recognized thought leader, frequently called upon to empower organizations with insights on leadership, service, and personal growth. She serves in various advisory roles, championing policy change for veterans, small businesses, and underserved communities.

Her book As My Leaders Go… So Do I supports survivors of economic domestic violence. She also launched R3 (Recognize, Repair, Repeat), a platform dedicated to helping women, especially veterans, access wealth-building resources.
